It’s not often that you first meet your Real Estate agent in an Emergency Department, but that’s how I met Colleen Meiser when I came to Maryland looking for a home.
I had to travel ahead of my husband with 2 and 4 year old to begin house hunting and fell very ill on the flight from Ohio to Maryland. Colleen called my cell concerned that I had not called her upon our arrival.
Without hesitation, colleen was at the hospital and within a few minutes taking care of my little girls as we had no friends or relatives nearby. Just watching the caring way she interacted with my children spoke volumes of her character.
Once I got back on my feet, I began to realize that not only was Colleen wonderful as a person, she is a great Real Estate Agent. During our short time together, she quickly learned what we were looking for and continued working with us after we had returned home. Several weeks before we had planned on returning Colleen called us to tell us that she thinks she had found the home we had been searching for. To help us decide if it was worth the 12 hour drive to come back early, she and her husband, a well respected local contractor, did a walk-through of the house with us over the phone. We decide to take a chance and drove 12 hours the following day. She was right! Great neighborhood! Great price!
Now we are enjoying our life in Maryland. Thanks Colleen!Kerry and Shannon

We are very grateful that Colleen Meiser was our Real Estate Agent. She made the purchase very easy. She paid attention to every detail and she made us both feel very special.Dale & Max
We had relocated to Salisbury Maryland from across the country. We traveled with small children to this unknown area. Colleen Meiser was very professional, personable. She had a good knowledge of the area and went beyond the call of duty…..
Colleen put in long hours with us for we had to find a home rather quickly. She made sure that we didn’t just buy any home. She told us that when we found the home of our choice that we would know it as soon as we walked in the front door. She was right! After several days and thirty or so homes later we found our dream home.
She took care of every detail. There was a never a time that we couldn’t reach her. We had to count on her to take care of everything since we were so far away. She did it with such ease.
We arrived at our new home in the middle of the night with our three children. We were strangers to this new town. When we walked into our new home there was Welcome Home Banner. She had stocked the fridge with items that we needed righ away: Juices, snacks and other essentials. Colleen had a small gift for each of the children sitting on the counter. You can only imagine how this made us feel. What a welcome.

If you ever need to sell your home there is no other Real Estate Agent I would recommend. Colleen handled our sale of our home with ease. She never seemed frazzled. She knew just what to say and when to say it.
We had a difficult buyer. Colleen was able to keep everyone calm and happy. It wasn’t easy. At the end of the transaction we all sat around the settlement table and thanked her for being so professional. She is by far the nicest agent we have ever used.
She has set the standard high for our next purchase. We have learned from the best and we expect no less for anyone else. We are only sorry she isn’t licensed in the state we are moving to.Gerry & Susan
